How to delete temp files to speed up your machine?

Hello Friends,

I would like to share some steps to speed up your machine, which sometimes becomes slow because of temp files.
1) Make sure that you are able to login on Machine.
2) Go to start > Run (Ctrl +R)
3) Type "Cmd" then press "Enter"
4) Now make sure in command prompt there should be c:\ only. If there is any other text written (i.e. c:\documents and settings\) then Just type CD\ and press "Enter". Now you will get the C:\
5) type "Del *.tmp /s" and press "Enter". It will start deleting all the temp files. It can take time depends on your HDD capacity. You can stop it in between by pression "Ctrl +C".
6) Once its completed, you can Type "Exit". Now the CMD window will be closed.
7) Again go to Start > Run and type "Prefetch" then Press "Enter". One box will be open where you can see lots of files. Just Select all by pressing (Ctrl +A) and Delete them.

Once its deleted. Restart your PC you will face enhacement of your machine speed.

You may have (accidentally) activated the Windows "Accessibility" tools. One of the tools is "Sticky Keys". For example, people with impaired motor-skills can press CTRL, and then press ALT, and then press DELETE, to achieve the 'CTRL-ALT-DELETE' key-sequence.

Turn off "Sticky Keys". Or, restart your computer to start without the "Accessibility" tools.

Cant reboot - it started when the internet froze and i did ctrl atl delete and ended prosces for expoler, then computer froze so i used ctrl alt delete to restart computer, when computer restarted it...

Good day sir/maam, the reson why it froze is caused by a bad memory module, you may need to replace it. Open up your computer and locate the memory modules, remove all memory modules and bring it to a computer vendor for testing. or if you have the cash, better buy a new one. make sure that what you install on your PC be it tested or new is good.

During start up i receive press ctrl, alt, delete to start pc

That is normal for a companies Windows Professional installation. When you hold down CTRL and ALT then press DELETE another window will pop up asking your login name and password. In the older days, CTRL, ALT and DELETE would restart your computer, but now they use that in Professional versions of windows.
