Question about JVC Cybercam GR-D70 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
You have to clean a sensor that one finds to the right of the engine of tape load, it is not necessary to disarm, only opens the compartment of the tape, the laod engine is a vertical cylinder like a 8 mm silver color, It is located even behind to the left side, use a special hook tool, with a cotton cover and laser clen-up solution.

This is usually caused by a failed component in the moisture detection circuitry within the camera and can be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired qualified service technician.
My name is Rick and I'm a professional repair technician with over 20 years in the business and have repaired many of these. I'm semi retired and work from home with little overhead so I can keep repair costs low. If you decide to have the camera repaired, please click HERE for a directory listing that suits your needs.

my jvc grd70 has been paused because of condensation for well over a year
battery dead now,, was perfect hardly used never around wet conditions..
I get condensation error message when i switch on the camara and says please wait, nothing happens, sometimes it will not allow me to incert the tape, I put it near a warm place and on one occation it worked ok for about an hour, then same problem again with same message.
When I start my camera, I got "Please wait - Condensation paused". And I cannot insert tapes, cover always opens.
exactly the same 'condensation operation paused- went off indoors at christmas, won't let me insert a tape - any solutions ......
Identical issue with mine. I tried filming in a closed swimming pool area. Guide suggests you wait an hour. I have been waiting for weeks. Any solutions found since you posted this?
condensation occurs.please wait
For days on end it displays condensation, operation paused. I live in Mississippi, so maybe it is the humidity.
