I bought my phone in 06. I had hardly used it for 3 months, and the display started cracking. I took it to the service centre, where the guy replaced it for liquid leakage in the LCD. After a month, i experienced the same problem again, but the guys there refused to repair it under warranty, asking for a RIDICULOUS 4000 Rs. to replace the display( I bought the phone NEW for 3500). I went to many junk shops, trying to get cheaper ones, but cant seem to find one. is there any other display compatible with it? The phone works well, except the display part.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Have you called their corporate office? 12 month warranty is usually on parts. So if they cant fix it they have to replace it with one of equal value, it is a defect. You should have their customer service number on your bill. You can also contact LG directly as well. If you need their phone number let me know. That is definetly unacceptable. Keep me posted. Thanks, Lee
To reset the system to "install" mode press & hold the "play/pause" button in the center of the unit until "AUTO INSTALL- PRESS PLAY" is displayed.
If this doesn't work then the unit may be too hot! I see on the philips web site that this model has a temperature sensor & will shut itself off. I am in Spain too & the temperature inside right now is 30C!!
You can download the manual at:
