Question about LG Computers & Internet
Did it work before? Does it show in "my computer"? Did you unplug it without ejecting it first? I posted this for another drive problem ... might work for you
Probably lost all info but can savedrive if its like a cruzer ... first with drive inserted go to computerand see what drive it is ie: D:, E: etc. open CMD... on XP go to runtype CMD ... in Vista type CMD in the search by start and open commandprompt. Type drive letter followed by : (example F:) then press enternow it should look like this F:>_ now type "DIR" enter and you willsee any files on that drive, to copy and try to save files type "copyF:ilename C: ewfolder" now this is just an example so make sure youcreate a folder to copy to prior to this copy function after you copyall files you need then you can delete filesthat are preventing it from working in my case I deleted all files andstarted over. To delete files ... At the prompt type "DEL F:ilename"do this with each file, if you need to know functions in command, atthe prompt type "help" when you finish you should be able to format thedrive and put your files back on .... good luck
