Question about Medion (40010998)
What is the Maximum Memory Capacity? Some sources say 2 GB @1024MB x2 or 1024 MB @ 512MB x2
Your best solution would be to go to http://www.crucial.com/ and run their computer scanner http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/index.aspx which will identify your computer and tell you exactly what capacity you can have, what you have currently, and what type of memory (speed, capacity per dimm, etc). This should answer your question. You can then purchase more memory for your laptop if it can take more than you already have in it.

It sounds to me like some of the cells in the battery has collapsed.
A 12 volt light doesn't use as much juice on the battery as when you boot up. When Mobo, Monitor, Harddrive etc etc. start up they all use a large start-up-current and if the battery cant sustain the amount of amp. they all need together, nothing happens.
This is called shadow-charge, the battery seems fine, but when it really needs to put out some power it collapses.
I think you should try to sniff up another battery and see if this one has the same problem.
Or perhaps investigate wether or not you still have some warranty left on the battery, to try to get a free replacement.
