Question about Mitsubishi VS-50705 50" Rear Projection Television
I'm getting black horizontal bars and a jumpy picture on my VS 50705. The picture is fine for a few seconds, then gets bars, then is fine for another few seconds. Had a similar problem with an old tv and fixed it by changing out some capacitors. Is it possible this has a similar solution? And if so, where/which capacitors should I replace?
Yes . Some of these caps are in the secondary of the power supply and some are on the signal board around 5v and 7v supply lines on the signal board . The 5 & 7 are mounted on heat sinks and the caps are right around there .Generally either 2.2uf or 4.7uf or the 47uf . Good luck
