Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

The power button is violet, the monitor won't work

The screen flashes between black and ''0 . TkHz /ANGHz'' (in a similar blue box to the one which displays the ''Power Saving'' message on shut down) when the computer is on. That's it.

The monitor's power switch stopped working yesterday, but otherwise it was ok. Got home to find this sorry state. Checked all the cables. Rebooted the computer (which seems fine). Nothing. The monitor is about a year old.

Robyn_e_fox, Here is what I would try to do first if my 12 to 15 month old LCD monitor started doing STRANGE things!! If possible try to substitute a KNOWN GOOD monitor in it's place to make certain that your PC is working properly. If PC is OK then you know or are pretty sure that your LCD could be having an internal problem that a technician will need to diagnose and repair. Before paying for ANY repair you should contact the monitor manufacturer and complain about the short life and PREMATURE FAILURE of this LCD. Check to see if they also have a swap-out program in place. And last but not least check with the store where you originally purchased the LCD on what you should do. Hope this helped. loiue12fix on fixya lmistyrel @aol.com

Try to disconnect the set and a box if being used from power for a while and then power both back as either could cause this problem.

After starting the computer the screen is black and only displays digital analog on screen and the blue light is flashing. It then displays a box say "check signal digital analog." please help me. Thanx.

This blue light flashing means there is power to monitor bu NO video signal. No Analog or digital Video . analog is the regular plug for PC to Monitor, the other is HDMI digital or other digital. Check signal digital/analog means again: No video signal from PC detected.

ViewSonic VA912b monitor fading out during boot

It is probably the power supply, or the inverters.

Similar problem with solution, though it requires you to know something about electronics.
