Question about InFocus ScreenPlay 4805 Multimedia Projector
My projector is seeming to have a problem. My brother was playing his video game on my projector when her heard a pop and saw the screen go out. After looking he saw that the bulb burst. We then went to a known working projector and took the bulb out of that one. After the replace the projector will not come on. No light screen at all. The green light on the cover will come on, you will hear the wheel spin for about 10 secs and stop. about 6 sec later it will try again. Can you please tell me what you think the problem might be. I would really like to get back to playing with my screen again...
If the lamp burst, then the projector should power up with a good lamp. Make sure it's properly plugged in and the lamp door is fully closed. Sometimes these models tend to refuse to power up and the led turns to red. Switch off from the power outlet for a few minutes and try again.

Make sure the plastic cover (the one you took off to replace the bulb) is closed. Closed fully!
On the plastic cover/door, there are 2 latches and one prong. Make sure the door closes fully, so that the prong hits a metal plate/trigger and "clicks".
Once it clicks, the bulb activates and you get a picture.
Unfortunately, once I discovered that, the whole unit won't power on. That's right , absolutely no activity from the power switch.
