To add:

Google forums about that particular software for some backgrounds. And also read the system requirements where it will runs best. Scan the software first for any virus. And as says, create system restore points. If some problems appears you can restore it back to last good known state.

What parts do i need to have replaced po604 internal control module random access memory (ram) error

Using ESD precautions and making sure your computer is unplugged from power, with a can of compressed air you can try dusting within the case. This may help with this error, but you may also have a stick of RAM going bad or a software driver problem also.

This is often caused by drivers, software or hardware conflict. If possible reinstall everything even i recommend the Windows/OS. But first uninstall the suspected software and scan using an updated antivirus, clean the hardwares and motherboard. Uninstall newly added software or hardware. Restore to the previous settings when there wasn't problem. If all the precautions doesn't help, your only option is to format the system and reinstall fresh operating system. But if you can't do all these, better to let the Technician do it for you, otherwise you may make mistakes. Good luck..

Authorization code anywhere anyone?

I think the best and honest answer to this would call the software company and explain the problem as best as possible. I've done it a few times myself. It is embarassing and probably awkward, but it does help. I think as a safe precaution, if you bought it from somewhere, have the reciept ready.

When i try and load creator9 i get a message that the certificate is missing

This is a precaution that Microsoft uses to help prevent any software get loaded that could possibly harm the system or not operate properly.

If you trust the software maker, go ahead and click "continue anyway" and load the software.
I am guessing that the "creator 9" software you are loading is the Roxio Easy Media Creator 9. If so, you should not have any problems just from loading it.

I have the same software and received that same window when I loaded it, but since then I have upgraded to Creator 10 not long after that and it is much better.

As time passes and you load more and more software, you will probably see that message a few times when loading software.

it does not mean that the software is bad, just that it has not been tested by microsoft and given a certificate as being compatible with the operating system.

Just don't load any software that has come from questionable places, and it would be a good idea to scan anything you plan to use with your anti-virus software first to make sure it is clean.

If you found this information helpful, a good rating is always appreciated :)

What sort of problems are you afraid of? There really aren't any viruses for the Palm that I know of. Nor any trojans.

However basic precautions would include downloading software only from trusted sites. A good place to start would be pocketgear.com (formerly palmgear.com).
