Tv is black when turning on tv

well i have the exact same problem with my tv... was told i need a power supply, an ssb mainboard, a y buffer board and a y main board.................. sucks!!!!!!!!!!

considering its a plasma screen it has no backlight inverter board. more than likely its the Vs output on your power supply. if it does not put out between 200-215Vdc it will not drive the plasma screen. mine did the same thing . still trying to isolate the power supply problem without having to replace the whole thing but trying to do it without a service manual is a total drag lol

Ur backlight video inverter board is dead u need new one.
