Question about Btc Computers & Internet
After around 6 months of perfect usage performance, my BTC URF9116 Wireless keyboard is going crazy. Some shortcut button such as search, or open av. are repeatedly clicked by itself. Very annoying.
I've checked, all the key buttons are OK, not pressed accidentally.
Sometimes, it is OK from the beginning, but after few minutes the shortcut starts activated repeatedly like someone is pressing it over and over again. Sometimes, it is like no power at all. We have to remove the battery and put it back again to get the keyboard works again.
I have make sure using all new and good batteries, reinstalling software and drivers, try some other PCs and laptops but the symptoms are the same. This is an only 6 months old keyboard, never been dropped or contact with water.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

After changing the batteries and cleaning the corrosion out of the battery case, I pressed the connect button on the Logitech receiver, then the red restart button on the underside of the keyboard and it was fixed!

Your problem lies only in mouse. All procedures followed are correct, but take a close look at the bottom of mice where the receiver is placed when not in use, look for a tiny thin button that protrudes from one of the sides, it has to be depressed while receiver is out, it might be stuck, try to press it down gently a couple of times, it must come out. If it doesn't work, take off battery, now press down mentioned button and release it immediately upon inserting back the battery. Hope will work ok. Good luck!! Chawah.

Goo0dness, Had this myself just last week. Fortunately I had the old keyboard and mouse and plugged it in to get access. I deleted the wireless keyboard from device manager. rebooted the machine, quickly changed the mouse and keyboard back to the wireless one and it all came back on. saved me buying a new one. Hope this works for you.
