Question about NEC MultiSync 1760NX 17" LCD Monitor

1 Answer

Multisync lcd1760nx This monitor powers up and works fine as far as I can tell. I set my notebook screen to show on this monitor as a clone screen(same image as my notebook screen). I cant see the image on the multisync lcd1760nx unless I use a flashlight as the screen is sooo dark. Yes I have adjusted both the brightness and contrast on both monitors (multisync lcd1760nx and notebook) but to no help. Is there a self diagnoses mode on this monitor ? Any help or suggestions to brighten up the screen so I can use it?

The only I can think of is the resolution setting that your T400 is putting out that your NEC does not like andcannot display, look at the T42 resolution when the NEC is hooked up to it and try to set it to be the same in the T400.
