Run 'mmc'

Its the 'Microsoft Management Console'

Everything you could ever need is in there - be careful.

Go to START, RUN, and then type adminpak.msi and hit enter. Then simply install admin tools through the wizard.

hmmm...I am not sure about your requirements...OK lets try these...

    1. Simple regular tools and utilities pack for Windows XP can be downloaded from HERE.

    2. If you looking tools which usually system admins or engineers will need then you can install Windows 2003 Server tools on Winddows XP and they work perfectly fine. You can download from HERE. if you read the System requirement for them you will see it says these tools are also for XP.

    Cheers,

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Click Start, point to Programs, click Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management.

Expand the Local Users And Groups object under System Tools, and then click the Users folder.

In the right pane, right-click the appropriate user object, and then click Set Password.

Type the appropriate password, and then click OK.

Click OK to acknowledge that the password change succeeded.

Close the Computer Management console and Administrative Tools windows.

The user can log on with the new password.

To Reset the Administrator's Password

Log on to the computer as a user with administrative privileges, and perform the steps

If the Administrator password needs to be reset, and there are no other users with administrative access, there is no way to recover the password and the operating system will need to be reinstalled.

I have a Toshiba satellite laptop with windows 7 I also have a Maxtor 120 GB external hard drive. I've hooked it into a friends computer and it was recognized right away but when I hook it into mine it...

ok
In control panel, try to go through administrative tools then computer management then disk management
Try to locate and see if disk is present.
Also you need to check you anti-virus software and firewall setting on your laptop
See if you have administrator rights so that you can modify and change things in your account

ok

Uttam

MAxtor hard drive wont connect

is the hard drive detected by the BIOS?
you can verify if your hard drive is detected by Right click on taskbar > properties > startmenu > customize > advanced > scroll down completely and select system administration tools "Display on the all programs menu" > ok. Click on start > all programs > administrative tools > computer management > double click on storage. click on disk management(local) here you should see your lacie. If you dont then the drive is probably not detected. If you see, you can just partition and format it again from here and it will appear in your my computer.
