Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
I have an HP PSC 1500 All in One printer. problem i'm having is: all the lights are on and the printer carriage will not move (to the right when it is turned on). it makes a short squeek but it doesn't move. help! i tried everything - disconnecting all cords and reconnecting; cleaning rollers, etc.; looking for any obstructions; there is no reset function for this printer.... any suggestions? i have had it as long as a friend of mine and hers still works. i do not overuse mine either....thanks

Check the gear on the left side of your printer where the disk encoder strip is attach, the gear is not holding the metal shaft your need to replace that gear. The problem is in the inner hole where the shafting is attached.
