Question about Mitsubishi WS-55809 55" Rear Projection Television
After being off for three days. I went to turn the tv on. The little green light keeps blinking. I tried to reset it but no luck. the timer light keeps blinking when you turn the tv on.there is no picture showing. can't find the remote. How can i fix it?
Please verify Model number off back of set ! .........critical
for correct solution............For example...if your model # ends
with...13, then you will need to replace four capacitors in DM
module...1000mf 25v 105 degree.....if my guess is not correct,
the solution will be different.........................T.

I suspect the lamp area is VERY dirty as is the cabinet's filters and fans. This causes great stress on your tv and lamp. Take the time to clean all of them fully. Is the unit in a dirty area? or in a high temp area? DLP's dont like high temp or contaminated areas as they are NOT air sealed units.

If bad capacitors are the problem then replacing them will involve soldering.
If the problem is something else less visible then fault finding will be difficult without the proper service manual.
This will show the correct disassembly and test procedures.
