How to use Image Capture... images scan but can't find images

Can't use Epson Stylus CX4600 to scan to my Mac after upgrading, told to use Image Capture... Image Capture scans to Pictures folder and I created another folder... can't find the images in Pictures folder, the other new folder icon appears but nothing is in it. What do I do?
