SOURCE: Tile Saw

i know blades on tile saws don't have to be super tight, i'm not familar with that kind of saw, i put a wrench on the nut and hold on to the blade with my hand and hit the wrench with a rubber mallet, and of course have the unit unplugged

SOURCE: I have a small ceramic tile saw. I have

Hello,

Look for a button that you can press to lock the shaft in position. When you depress the button, you may still have to revolve the blade and shaft until the lock engages the shaft. Then unscrew the bolt from the shaft. Some others have an Allen wrench well in the end of the shaft, and you can insert the allen wrench to hold the shaft while operatiln the wrench to loosen the blade. Some others have a slot in the shaft end for inserting a slotted standard screwdriver for holding the shaft while the wrench is used to loosen the blade.
One of these methods will be available to you!

Best regards,

Can't unscrew arbor nut on my MS250 Delta Miter Saw. Tried everything to turn it counterclockwise with no success.

The arbot bolt on your saw has reverse threads or righty-loosey, lefty tighty. You should be turning it clockwise as you are looking at it or in the same direction the blade turns when cutting. The arbor bolt on these saws are reverse thread so that they are self tightening while the saw is in use.

I have two 101's and both saws have a terrible wobbling. I have put new blades on both and no corrrection. I put the same blades on a 10" target and they boith cut perfectly....i am at a loss

well you might check the belt tension, you can tighten it by loosining the 4 nuts that hold motor then tighten the middle bolt in the back, that slides your motor forward, then retighten the 4 motor nuts.if saw sounds louder than normal, it probably needs new bearings

Looking for shaft lock to change the blade on MK 170 wet saw

Just use a rag and grab the blade. Unless the threads are messed up you don't have to hold the arbor still, just the blade.

How do i change the blade on my delta 10" mitre saw

Exploded diagram for your SM100M miter saw is here.
User manual is here.

Page 20 covers blade change operation.

Make sure you unplug your saw! You need to remove a screw from the cover and rotate the cover to the rear. Use a hex wrench in the motor shaft to keep the saw blade from turning, and loosen the arbor nut with a 1/2" wrench. The arbor is reverse threaded, so you'll turn it clockwise to loosen, then counterclockwise to tighten it up after you have swapped the blade.
Rotate the cover back after that's done, and replace the screw.

If this was useful, please vote. Thanks.

I need to buy a tile saw I was searching on the internet & after spending 3 hours I came across this impressive website http://www.ciciliotandson.com/. I just want to ask you that are they reliable ?

Hi, I just went to that site you posted, I don't know what saw you were looking to buy, the saws looked like good quality, BUT they all looked very overpriced. Ive been doing tile since 1984 and have owned, mk,target, felker, pearl, tile saws. everyone of these saws have a 10 inch blade and are very very good for a thousand dollars you can get these saws with saw stand, blade all the gauges ready to cut.the pearl saw \pearl abrasive co.\vx 10.2xl has a 1 1\2 hp motorweights 83 pounds and cut a 2 foot by 2 foot tile or a 18x18 diagonally, great saw,the mk, target and felker have saws that will cut the same size of tile but are bulky in size.if i was you go ask tile setters at a tile store, before you buy a saw.good luck Chad

Wobble blade /rough cuts

You may wanna check the Conveyor Cart Wheel. Replacing this wheel maintains smooth rolling action which contributes to straight, chip-free cuts.

It costs for only about $28.72. Here, you may check this link if you wish to buy the Conveyor Cart Wheels:

http://www.diamond-blades.net/target_tile_saw_access.html

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any service center where you can bring your Target Tile saw for repair. But you may check the manufacturer's contact number on the user's manual.

Have a great day!
