Question about Kenmore 55612 / 55614 / 5561 / 655619 Side by Side Refrigerator
If you remove the lower front panel, you'll see a small cylindrical piece with a flatblade screwdriver slot. Turn the slot with a screwdriver clockwise ONLY until it clicks. do this a couple times. This is your defrost timer and by turning it you may be able to free it up. If not, than it will have to be replaced. This is a quite simple task and can be performed quite easily if you take your time. Good luck, Dana
