Question about HP Color LaserJet 3500 Printer
We had a tech come in to work on the printer. now that he has worked on it, the printer is not spitting the paper out fast like it used to. i was just in the config menu a minute ago and the config page printed quick. just tried to get it to do it again and no go. anyone have any ideas what the tech may have done? i went into the menu and hit the reset to factory specs and that did not do anything either. thanks so much, cyndi
I don't think that the Technician did anything as these machines print at a set speed programmed into the system firmware best way to check is print out a demo page or a configuration sheet and I believe that this machine is unto 35 pages a minute in black and white. Send a one page print job to it at a copy rate of 35 and time it, it should only take 1 minute from when the first page exits the machine. If it is longer by more than 10 seconds check that the driver is not set for color mode as then the machine is using all four colors to make black making it seem slower as longer process.
Hope this helps
