Two things can be wrong. One is the defrost timer is bad. (and a klixon switch that goes with it also may be bad). or the Defrost heator elements are not working. which means- maybe a circuit board or relay or just a wire has come loose. Remove all the food from the freezer, remove the racks, take out the back of the freezer. You may scratch up some metal but it's ok. get some bath towles, Get out a hair drier and start to manual defrost the evap coil. Work fast you will need to get it all back together quickly. Once you have the coil clear, look at all the wiring - looking for what looks like a lead pipe the size of a pencil. Check that for good wire conections at both ends, Also look for a round switch with two wires,(klixon) it should be cliped on one end of the evap coil- make sure it is in place. Check the drain be sure it is clear. put it all back together and run it a for a day or so and recheck for frost build up.

My 12 year old subzero fridge (650) is not getting cold. this morning i discovered ice behind the fresh food drawer, removed it, it was running fine, temp 35. now tonight the temp is 51. freezer is fine....

Is it flashing vacuum condenser? Ice behind the crisper drawer shouldn't effect the temp. What is it set at? You can go to www.subzerospecialists.com and click on Tech Help for additional info.

Kenmore Cold spot refrigerator model 106 70182001 leaking inside in the back of the refrigerator. Having to keep bowls in the back of the top shelf. How can I fix this?

Your defrost drain in the frezer is cloged. Every day when your refrig sellf defrosts the water should drain into a hole that leads to a tube wich drains the water to a pan under the refrig. You need to turn offrefrig and remove frezer floor and rear wall and clean out hole and tube with hot water.

The refrigerator isn

If you allow the refrigerator to completely defrost by unplugging it and leaving the doors open, the coils (which are hidden from view usually behind the back interior wall) will allow air to flow around them once again ( after the heavy ice buildup melts away ) It usually drains down into a pan under the refrigerator . This is what contols the temp in the cold portion of the refrigerator. Likely the defrost coils have quit working. This is a common problem and requires a new defrost coil be installed to keep the ice from building up on the coils.

Icemaker is not making ice

is there water in your icemaker.if so then its up to icemaker to do its part.frezer temps must be near 0 degrees.if no water in icemaker is the line in the back of the frezer frozen [top back where water passes thru frezer wall into frezer section.if its not frozen,am i then getting voltage to the water valve when the ice maker cycles.if not then icemaker is bad.if your ice bucket is on the door[whirlpool, kenmore]there are boards in the frezer section that can fail.i know that dosen't tell you what the problem is .but it does give you somthing to go on with.God bless ,tom

Refrigerator and freezer are warm (Kenmore model 59676509500)

if there is frost on the back wall of the freezer than its iced over (the automatic defrost cycle has failed) turn off the fridge for 18-24 hrs with freezer door open and the ice will melt and it will begin to cool again. It takes a long time for the ice behind the back wall to thouruoghly melt, if it isnt all the way defrosted you will end up with soild ice insead of frost and that will take even longer to thaw Dont forget to rate my solution as solved if I accurately answered your question...Thanks!!
