How do to upload pictures

From what to where?
If it is from a digital camera to a laptop then -
If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos and to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

First try to use the card to any other machine, see if the card is defective. Then try you card reader with another card, if you found the same result then probably your card reader has some issue. You either repair it form nearby service center or use a external card reader.

How can i restore a 7'' sylvania mini notebook

In order to do this you need an SD card. These are the same kind of cards some cameras use. Once you have card go to Once there, click on the downloads tab. The full instructions are there.

Things to keep in mind:
You must use and SD card of at least 1 gig. And it must be formatted to FAT32 which can be done in a laptop card reader of on a desktop that has a card reader. To do this click on start>right click on my computer and select open>right click on the SD card and select format. This is will give you a menu to choose the type of format to use. Please be sure that you have nothing on the SD card that you can't afford to lose. You can upload anything on the card to the computer before you format it. Once it's formatted go to the zip file that you downloaded from Sylvania. Unzip the contents to the SD card. Once this is completed close all windows but the one that contains your drive info. Right click on the card again and select 'eject' and wait until it tells you it's safe to remove. TPower the netbook off and take the SD card and plug it into the slot on the left hand side of the netbook. In the one I was working on the card actually inserts upside down. The card should slide in easily and push until you feel/hear it click into place. Hit the power button and let it do it's thing. You'll need to shut the netbook down and reboot it when it's finished.

I hope this helps.

I have a sylvania notebook i want to change os how do i do that i have no cd rom do i use a usb flash windows ce is harable.

To the best of my knowledge, you cannot change the OS on that notebook as it is an embeded system. The Gsystem is burned into a chip on the mother board and the only way at present is to reprogram a like chip and solder it in place after de-soldering the old chip. Then you would have to buy another embeded system and learn to program an EEprom chip.

Yes. You can always remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into a card reader. Many laptops and netbooks come with card readers. If your laptop doesn't have one, you can buy an inexpensive card reader that plugs into either USB or FireWire, as appropriate.

This is actually the preferred way of transfering pictures. This is often faster, and also conserves the camera's battery.

If you do go and buy a card reader, I'd also suggest a second memory card, if you don't already have one. You don't want to have to cut short your day's photography just because you filled your one and only card.

My netbook screen resolution is no good for canon instal disk

You didn't provide what netbook you got, but most netbooks today got built in SD-card readers. If your netbook does, the best solution is to remove the card from the camera and insert it into the netbooks card reader. The Canon G9 supports SD-cards, as well as SDHC, MMC, MMCplus and HC MMCplus compatible cards. I suggest using a SD or SDHC card.
You will not need to install canon software to access your pictures if you use the card reader, you will be able to access and copy/move them from the memory card in explorer (or equalent if you use Linux on your netbook). Also, it's a much faster way to move pictures from the camera to the computer, because the card reader interface is a lot faster than the USB interface to the camera.
If your netbook does not have an internal card reader, you could buy a SD card with built in USB, such as this one: This SD card behaves like a normal memory card in your camera, but plugs directly to an empty USB port on your netbook. The card will be accessable as any removable storage, in Explorer (or equalent if you use Linux).
A third solution would be to get a cheap USB 2.0 card reader. Almost any cheap USB 2.0 accepts SD cards, and would be a lot faster than connecting the camera to the netbook with a USB cable.
I hope this help you!
