Unplug the refrigerator.

Let the bulb cool. Use one of those rubber sheets that advertises as a sure grip jar opener or rubber shelf liner for grip. Wear a thick glove in case the glass breaks. If it breaks then grip the remaining metal socket wall (one point of the pliers on the inside of the socket and one point on the outside) with a pair of needle nose pliers and keep twisting it until it deforms and pulls out.

Good Luck

Turn signal lights flashing to quickly

Sounds more like a bad bulb socket. The bulbs provide a load which causes them to blink slowly. If just one bulb becomes disconnected the load changes and so does the flash rate. I would suspect that you have a bulb that is coming loose in the socket periodically thereby changing the load. Many vehicles us multiple bulbs in the rear...ex. my 04 grand am does the exact same thing. It uses 2 bulbs per tail light. One of the bulb sockets on the drivers side sometimes loses connection and they flash really fast (the other bulb flashes...just 1 of the two quits). In my car i need to replace the tail light assembly.

I have a warning that indicated left low beam malfunction. How do I resolve this issue.

  • It means the low beam is out on the left side of your vehicle. You will need to replace the bulb and things will be back to normal.
  • Changing the bulb on this vehicle is more troublesome than most vehicles.
  • I think on the 2006 750Li you have to actually loose the bumper a bit to get to the headlight to wiggle loose. Some of the newer BMW's are made so the bumper comes up on the bottom of the headlight assembly just enough to make the bumper have to be loosened to be able to get the headlight assembly out enough to change the bulb.

No taillights we changes bulbs and fuses still no tail lights

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the sight. Since you know the bulbs and fuses are good, you need to check the wiring harness. Check closely around the bulb sockets as this is a likely place for a bad wire. Try shaking the wires as you may have a loose connection. You might need a voltage meter to test to see if there is any current in the wires. I know it is no easy job, but this is what you will need to do since the bulbs and fuses are good. You either have a loose connection, short, or bad wire. Thanks for using FixYa and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Need to replace low beam need to know how

open hood , locate bad bulb, light bulb sockets are held in with a wire retaining clip or they are twist locked in,, and required to twist loose then remove, and change out bulb. then reinstall socket.

if u have an older car. just remove the retaining ring with a screwdriver thats around the replacement bulb / housing assembly

Why right headlight won't come on. We replace plug

if the fuse and light bulb are ok then you can check 2 things,
1. that the bulb fits tightly and that the connection to the bulb is clean.
2. it maybe some loose wiring that may need to be changed
good luck

How do change the rear right turn signal light bulb in a 94 ford thunderbird?

Typically you have to pull the (cardboard) liner in the trunk away from the light assembly, to get to the bulb. Then, gently twist the bulb holder one way or the other, until it comes loose from the tail light housing. Gently push the bulb in towards the socket that holds it, turn it counter-clockwise, and release the bulb. It should come loose. Assembly is the same, but in reverse.

2000 Chevrolet Blazer Changing Low Beam Headlight

the metal ring is the retainer for the bulb. you should be able to get at it from the front area without taking the grill loose. most of those only have 2 little phillips head screws. remove the screws and the bulb will come out. unplug it and the new one goes right back in. installation is the reverse of removal.

Change a 2007 Hyndai Sonata brake light

Get in the trunk, take loose the screws, lift the lens holder, change the bulb. Unfortunately, it's not as easy as it sounds. The hole for the lamp position is offset about 4-5 inches. You cannot get to the bulb to remove it without taking loose the lens holder. You have to remove 2 screws to do that, one of which is hidden by a piece of foam tape.
Also it is impossible to remove the lens holder without slipping a finger underneath to turn the bulb holder. I had to cut off a portion of the bulb holder to slip the lens back in. I left the screws out, as it is impossible to put them back after removal. No wonder the dealer wants $50 to change the bulb-it took me about 45 minutes.
