Typically this is caused by a bad pillow block bearing. I would suggest trying to pin point the sound a bit better, but this is common of the pillow block bearings.

Shaft is stuck in the squirrel cage in swamp cooler how do i get it out?

If you are planning to replace the shaft;
if your able to loosen the 2 square headed bolts( which must be done to allow for shaft movement) do so, then after bearings and pulley are off emerycloth (smooth no burrs or rust) the shafts 2 ends and get grinder and cut thru the shaft on the inside of squirrel cage area as close to the edge of cage as possible drive the shortened pieces of the shaft inward( oil this pieces to help ease movement thru blower wheel) until they are removed replace shaft with new shaft and re-install parts and or replace as needed bearings and blower wheel. I am getting ready to do this very job myself ( take measurements of shaft on each side to ensure your back where you started when done)

Oil leaks pour from my Oil cooler right above oil filter when I start driving

The oil is most likely leaking from the oil cooler seal. The oil cooler is the square aluminum piece that the oil filter screws onto. To replace the seal, remove the filter, remove both coolant hoses that attach to the cooler, remove the nut that secures the cooler to the block and slide the cooler off the tube. Replace the rubber o-ring seal which is available at the VW dealer. It's inexpensive. Replace everything in reverse order. Good luck

THE BEARINGS SEEM TO BE BAD. IS THERE 1 OR 2?

The only brown debris that i could think of is shredded rubber. Usually from a belt. If your bearings are bad and jamming up the movement of the machine then it could shred the belt. And the bearings may be jammed from the rubber stabilizer straps either broken, overly cracked and loosely supportive. Other than that i could not think of anything else that would cause the problems you describe.

Evaparative cooler system

Hi, most all evaporative water coolers have a threaded hole in the bottom of the unit. It will look like a piece of plastic pipe about 4 to 5 inches tall and it just screws in a hole. just grab hold of it and turn it ccw to remove it for draining. Keep me posted.
Sincerely,
Shastalaker7
PS, If it is to tight to remove by hand, you can use channel lock pliers.

your basket shaft is broken or the bearing are bad it probably sounds like a freight train when it goes into high spin you need your washer rebuilt but it would be cheaper to buy a new washer. to rebuild the washer it will cost aleast 800 dollars

Plastic inside door is shredding apart

Hello kwheersink
Welcome,

Make sure you are not using to much detergent.
You should be using HE, or High Efficiency Detergent.
And only the amount that the manual for the washer tells you.
To much and it will slowly destroy your Seal and bearing. Plus any rubber or plastic parts it comes into contact with.
Definitely replace this now!!
How old is the washer?

Let me know how you do and the answers about your detergent habits.
Waiting your response.
Thank You Huuum
