Question about Motorola Mobility Rival A455 Cell Phone
I had the same problem, so I went to my service provider store (telus) and the guy there fixed it for me . He didn't need anything other then my phone to do this, and he said that this is a common software problem with this phone.
The only solution he had was to "hard/factory/master" reset my phone. This basically brings it back to the settings you had when you bought the phone, so if you have contacts/ringtones/photos that you would like to keep it is best to bluetooth them to another cell/ your computer (macs work best) before hand and then send them back afterwards.
This happened to me again (it happened to me after having it for 13 days, and now two weeks later it happened again).
I'm trying to figure out how to perform a hard reset myself but I called both motorola and telus and neither of them can figure it out.
Grr... I hate this phone.
