This sounds as though you inadvertently disconnected your video connector or knocked something slightly off on your motherboard. Please ensure all cards/components sit snuggly in their slots and verify all connections. The battery should not affect the system's operation, except for the system time, which in newer versions of Windows is set automatically.
Good luck!

Lost installation cd for soyo sy-p4vga. Had to reformat and reinstall xp and now no audio or network.

After you reinstalled, you lost the drivers necessary for audio and network.
Visit this website, and reinstall the according drivers after selecting the windows xp operating system.

Error msg: Bios checksum error award biosblock v1 checking for media.... I am unable to access bios. I have pulled battery for 20 min replaced same error. MOBO is p41875p dragon 2 I am unable to locate a...

Your best beet is to either do a google search or check out what is available on ebay for that mo bo. Often cmos chips are available for purchase.
Flashing is never guaranteed and often does not work. If you are sure the cmos is bad your best bet is to get the cmos chip with the correct bios already on it. And if it doesn't work then the issue is within your mo bo. My cmos went belly up on my Dragon also - very frustrating because it was a great mother board.

Soyo SY-P4VGA bios. how do i get it and how do i install it without video.

To get the bios you'll need to buy a bios chip from the net, im sure their are site flooding around if you google them. For installing a bios without a video card or a monitor connected. Im not sure if that would be easy. Or even possible if you dont have any certification as a professtional PC tech.
