Question about Sony CDX-C480 CD Changer
The black wire from the radio wiring harness is the ground.Where do you have it connected? It needs to be connected to a screw that is connected to a metal point on the car. So I would verify that the ground is good. Try moving it to another spot. That could be causing the problem. Make sure that the metal contacts where the faceplate connects to the radio deck are clean, not bent, and making complete contact with each other. Make sure that you do not have any loose or exposed wires that can cause a problem with the unit. Red wire goes to switched 12v power, yellow goes to constant 12v and black goes to ground. Let me know what you find.
