Make sure your SIM is in correctly, if it is... go to a COR store and tell them AT&T said to give you a free SIM card. COR stores are the corporate ones that can sell iPhones.

Insert sim card

I'm not sure what the question is you are asking concerning a "sim card" but if it's How to put a SIM card in your cell phone you need a pin to put in the hole and it will pop open, However if your question is that your phone keeps telling you to insert a SIM card then you need to turn off your phone first and then go into the place where it's at and remove the SIM card and then put it back in and then turn your phone back on.

IMEI: 0118860069590 hey experts! I will be glad to receive an immediate assistance.my T mobile phone Nokia 1661-2b keeps on asking me that I should place a valid sim card whats that...

Hi, the phone is telling you one of two things, its either the phone is not on the network your trying to put it on, the sim card might be from a different network than the phone is locked to, it usually tells you what network it is on when you switch the phone on, if it dont tell you what network its on then just take it to any small phone shop that sells second hand phones and ask them to check what network its on then they will be able to provide you with the correct sim card.

the other problem you could have is if the phone has been reported lost or stolen then it can give you that warning then.

the only other problem you could have is if the sim card is not sitting in the phone properly try taking the sim card out of the phone and give the sim card a good wipe where the contacts are and then put it back in the phone making sure its pushed in properly.

then try the phone again, if it still gives you that message then its either wrong sim card, or the phone has been reported lost or stolen, or if the phone has been working with the sim card that is in the phone then the problem could be with the firmware on the phone which would need updating at a phone shop or the sim card reader may have failed, without knowing more about the phone and the network its on it would be difficult to give you a correct answer

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance

please could you rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

My lg shine keeps telling me to put in a puk code but i dont know the puk is on my phone

HI,

PUK means "personal unlocking key" .

The PUK code is asked if you enter a wrong pin 3 times.

You need to call your phone service company, they can retrieve the puk code from a database
for free.

In your case you need to contact your SIM card phone provider technical support to unlock the SIM.

The PIN and PUK are related to the SIM card, not to the phone.

If you replace the SIM card with a different one, then the phone should not ask for the PUK anymore.

thank you,

Cant pass the sim code

If your not really up for the work to go through for this. You can just have T-Mobile give you a new one for your phone. The SIM card transfer you would have done would have saved only your phone book.

If you are into looking to transfer the SIM card. Call your phone maker. In most Cases its Motorola for T-Mobile.
Call them, and tell them that your trying to transfer your SIM into a newer phone. Alas, They should tell you the code to unlock your phone

Hope this helps!

If it works without a SIM card you're getting free phone calls. Keep the SIM card out.
