Check to see if the fan baldes are rubbing something when it is running. The fan does not run all the time.

My 2001 xterra started making a weird sound between 20 and 35 mph. It sounds like there is a leak in some pressure system.

Common Car Noises and Their Likely Causes Noise More Details Likely Cause Fixing It Clicking noise while turning Starts faint, gradually becomes more noticeable until very loud Failed outer CV joint (constant velocity joint) due to torn boot (most likely) or old age Replace either the whole axle assembly (recommended) or the outer CV joint Water pump noises Difficult to diagnose because of water pump's location Noise usually caused by damage to the bearings in failed water pump Only cure is replacing it. If possible do it at the same time as a timing belt replacement to cut down on labor costs Squeak or squeal from an engine belt Loud, high-pitched squeak or squeal Belts either need adjustment or replacing If belts only squeak when damp, they probably just need adjustment. If they squeak constantly, they probably need to be replaced Exhaust heat shield noises Rattle that you hear when car is idling Damaged heat shield Replace heat shield

SQUEAKY!

Petroleum will rot bushings, you may consider a car wash with and undercarriage sprayer and see if noise goes away. This may indicate a bushing problem if noise goes away. If not, ball joint probably.

Squeaking nouse under car when traveling

you most likely just need a good old fashioned lube job. you have fittings in various places that need to have a grease gun used on them periodically to grease different areas of things like the suspension etc.

I own a Grand cherokee 1997 V8 5.2 ltr engine. It keeps saying "CHECK ENGINE". Secondly there is so much squeaking noise in the frontal underneath.

i think its time you got a greener vehicle ,check engine light could be anything from a split rubber hose on a vacumn pipe to a oxygen sensor ,also the noise underneath would need a mechanic to jack it up and have a look ,why not buy a nice peugeot partner or ford courier diesel manual for work

With every step I get squeak / chirp while running on treadmill.

Check the knob used to hold it up in the folded position. While running, have someone pull it to the out position. That was the problem on mine. If it is, a little grease on the end of the rod should do it.
