Whilst downloading music on my mp3 player i stopped sincronising and removed the usb cable i re-attached the usb cable and a message came on the screen of my lap top saing device not recognised try another port, tried another port the same message came up but this time it also said try another port are replace the device, i also noticed my mp3 is still showing transferring files do not disconnect, even though its not connected, what can i do to fix this problem.
Try hold the power button for about 15-20 seconds..that should reset the firmare...then connect your device to your computer..click on start and right click on my computer..then click on properties...go to hardware and device manager..find the device there and uninstall it..then unplug it and plug it back in to the back of your computer into a different usb port...that should solve your problem..if not let me know what the outcome is...

During a file transfer I removed the ubs cable and the message "Transferring files... Do not disconnect" is still on the screen. I held the on/off button for about 30 seconds.
