Question about Jazz DV-179 Digital Camera
Now, I get it. At the "back bottom" of the camera is the USB slot which is used to connect the camera to the computer (for downloading) via the cable supplied with the camera. It is ALSO the 'female" for connecting with the "male" end of the power cable.
For 'Kimmys', guess you meant camera, not computer, in your message. And yes, the light indicates it is charging.

When I recharge the batttery, do I put the cord in the USB spot on the computer. It is showing green when I do this, does that mean it is charging.

The Charger has a standard two pronged plug to go into the wall. The other end goes into the camera at the back bottom. You will see the female received for the male plug.
