Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
Can they hear you when you are on speakerphone?
If so, then it sounds like the flex cable connecting the microphone to the rest of the phone's guts has come loose or broken. The speakerphone microphone is a separate part from the receiver, and plugs into a different location, so often when the normal mic doesn't work, the speakerphone works fine.
The first thing I would do is try resetting the phone through the settings menu. Backup your data first, as this reset will wipe the phone's data. If the problem remains, you can either open it up and try to fix the cable yourself, or drop it off at a shop for a quick, cheap repair.
