Question about Velodyne Audio Players & Recorders

1 Answer

I have 4 year old DLS3750R That does not power up. I have had it plug in the same place for 3 years and used the remote to turn it on and off. I unpluged it the other day to do some rewiring on my Denon AV receiver and now it will not come on. I see no fuse to check externaly. What do you think the problem is? Thanks Gary

Please let me know whats the model number of the tv so that I can tell you what the PCB LED diagnostics are pointing to. It sounds like a power supply or Main board issue so I would like to confirm which one of them it is.

Volume turns up by itself

This might be a remote control issue, so try this: remove the batteries from your remote, then press all of its buttons and install new batteries. If the problem persists after that, your TV may require repairs. Service can be obtained, if needed, by carrying your TV in to the place of purchase.

When I use the remote to turn the television on, nothing happens.

This problems happen to all LCD and Plasma tvs.In to 1 or 2 maybe 3 to 4 years old in used. The power supply board have these componnents parts call the capacitors,it will started to bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top. These capacitors are leaking gases and it dead. The tv will not power up and the LED power lite indicator start continuous flashing LED light.U know basic electronic's and soldering?Take the tv aparts where the power cord plug into it that ur power supply board.Searches all around the power supply board and it supporting boards, replaced all those dead gas leakage capacitors.Ur tv will power up normal again and work.Or Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

3 YEAR OLD SANYO DP 32746. SHUT ITSELF OFF, CAN NOT TURN BACK ON

If you leave the tv unplugged for 2 days (atleast) then plug it back in and try to turn it on and if it comes on its the power supply board. If it comes back on it will probably shut off between 30min to 4hrs and you would have to unplug it for 2 days again. All the power needs to drain out of the tv. If thats the case take the back pannel off and check the part number out on the internet. Not hard to do becarefull touching things the power supply does store a little bit or shock in it. Good Luck.

3 year old Samsung 40 inch LCD TV will not turn on

The problem is 4 capacitors on the power supply board. Just had mine done under warranty. They (Sears) replaced the whole power board but you can get larger capacitors and just replace those for alot cheaper if not under warranty.

I have a Viewpia LC-32IE21H which does not want to switch on.

For a three years old set, first place to look is the main power supply capacitors, at least the 5vdc standby circuit is working, the problem can be as bad as the main controller board, but look at the power supply first.

RCA f20580wn 20" TV about 20 years old

Hopefully you have the problem solved.

If not, the RCA plugs, listed as input 1 and 2 are shown on channel 91 and 92.

I recommend connecting the DVD to either input. Turn on the DVD. Then run the auto programming function of the TV. It will find and program the channel for the DVD. Then use the channel up or down on the remote you are currently using and you should find a working DVD.

Hope this helps.
