1.Turn on your computer. Connect your Samsung MP3 player to your PC via the USB cord. Power on your Samsung MP3 Player.2Wait for the popup screen and select "Open Folder to View Files." If no screen appears, navigate to my computer and double-click the Samsung player.3Select the MP3 files you no longer want on your player by highlighting them with the mouse.4Right-click and select "Delete."5Close the folder and safely remove the MP3 player by using the "Safely Remove Hardware" feature in the system tray.
Add it to your computer (via a usb cable) using "Add Hardware", your computer should assign it a driver from its own bank. Then it is just a matter of sync-ing music from your windows media player to it. Make sure you disconnect it using the safe hardware release mode, it will do all sorts of funnies if you dont.
take your mp3 off the usb and go into the settings, you should find settings for the usb connection , ,, one of the options should be highlighted , chose the other one and try again,,,, your mp3 was set to charge only just pick the other setting and it should work. that happened to me once
no, I don't think it will delete all your data... I have one like that... and it never deleted any files when I reset it... But hopefully, it will work since this happens to me too... just not in the USB thing. Reset, check the device, ok? then you're ready to go!
