Use 10w40 motor oil in the gear box. Don't use any synthetic oils, oil marked "EC", or oil with "special" additives. Use Two Stroke ENGINE oil in the pump.
Top rating? Thanks!

You need to use compressor oil, sounds simple but that's what it's called. It's a non detergent oil designed for compressor pumps. Senco has it under part number PC0344, Campbell Hausfeld has it under part numbers ST125312AV & ST125303AV. Make sure you don't overfill the pump; more is not better with compressors. Too much oil makes the compressor and motor work harder.
