Question about Lexmark X2500 All-In-One Printer
I have a lexmark 2500 all in one printer I,ve used it for about a year withthe same ink and paper combo with no problems.then last week the printer began pulling the paper in crooked.I feel that the inside of the printer maybe dusty or dirty but I have no idea how to go about cleaning it out. If this is not likely the problem what could it be?

Look down the paper feed into the printer you will see one white plastic roller. Find a cotton bud and soak the end in methylated spirits and poke it down and wipe the roller. make sure you wipe the whole circumference of the roller. This removes any grease that has come off the paper onto the roller and allows the roller to grip the paper better. I have done this once and have not had a recurrence of the problem.

Please follow these steps to set your printer to defaults:
1. Please make sure your printer is set in Copy Mode.
2. Press the "setup" button, you will find "Maintenance" displayed.
3. Use your arrow keys to locate "Set Defaults" and press "OK".
4. Press the arrow key to find "Use Factory" and press "OK"
This process would reset your printer to Factory defaults.

Pull it out with a pair of tweezers and then
clean the rollers from where the paper goes in.
clean the carriage rod(metallic rod along which cartridges move)with alcohol.
If this does not work that means that your pick assembly of your printer is dyiing

hi try firstly to open the paper mount and then put ur hand to see if there is a paper jam there if not, try to open the color cartridge mount and remove the colour cartridge and install it back again if not, try to turn it off and on again.

Tips for a great answer:
the sheets of paper from the feeder.
2. Try to reach for the paper jam.
3. If paper jam can't be reached, open the printer cover to access the cartridge area. You may be able to get a better hold of the paper jam in the cartridge area.
4. Remove the paper jam and make sure not to tear or leave any torn piece of paper in the printer.
When paper jam is clear, try to print
a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.
