Tv does not output video anymore.. and the dvd player do not recognize any dvd/cd

Two issues are to be confirmed. The first you must check the TV using a VIDEO signal source to confirm the input of the TV , If there is no video then the TV video processing section needs a check,
If the DVD is not reading any disc you can try and clean the optical head of the DVD ,if not the head must be replaced.

What source(s) are affected? And WHY do you feel compelled to keep the NAD between the source video and the TV, especially if it adds nothing by being there?

Since my TV has a multitude of inputs I run my high-rez video sources only to the TV and high-end audio sources only to my receiver since neither device really benefits from or enhances the other medium.

No display on my tv from my 2600

Make sure your RF modulator is set to "game" and check your television is set to channel 3 or 4. If you are using RCA plugs on a newer television, set the display to A/V (audio/video) to see the picture.

After powering up the display reads, "No Disc" and unit powers itself off after about 10 seconds.

Please update this with the make and model. With that info, I should be able to figure out what is happening. In generic terms, the unit performs some system checks when powered up. It seems that a problem is found that is causing the system to shut itself down. Any details about the unit and what you hear or see in addition to what you have already posted would be helpful as well.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks,
Dan

Dvd burner

Can you try just running a/v cable from your tv output to the inputs on the ilo, then whatever you watch on your tv you can record on your dvd burner. My new SDTV doesnt have audio out except Coax so this won't work for me on that tv. Why doesnt the newer tv's have audio AND video outputs???
