Re: Video card installation

You will need to pay close attention to how many beeps & if their short or long. Asus uses the Award BIOS. Beeps are a part of POST. Power On Self Test. Open the link below to find out what your beeps mean.

in the bios, there are usually settings for onboard devices. try turning off your onboard vga in the bios. and/or enabling/disabling pci-e video settings in the bios. it also helpful to ensure there is a monitor plugged into the video card. if there are 2 video outputs on the new card, try plugging the monitor into one, reboot, if nothing shows up, plug the monitor in the other one, reboot, if nothing shows up; i dont know :)

The motherboard will work with a Radeon graphics card as long as it is a PCI-E card. Your problem is more likely to be either a weak PSU or a badly fitted CPU. make sure the CPU fan is connected and runs at switch on and that you have used thermal paste on the CPU/heatsink mating face. Then check your PSU is serviceable. You can get a PSU tster for a few pounds or dollars form most online computer parts suppliers.

Intel g41 express chipest not compatible

Sounds like your computer has an integrated video card and the game is looking for an extended graphics card. This type of card plugs into the motherboard via the AGP, PCI, or PCIE slots. Depending on the type of video card and computer, you may need to upgrade the power supply when you put the card in. If this is a laptop there is no good way to upgrade the video card.

Hope this was helpful

Make sure you seated the video card properly. Also, make sure that you cave connected any extra power supplies needed for the video card to work. You might have also come across the issue of you have more equipment in your PC than your Power Supply can handle. Look into another power supply if all else fails.

ATI Radeon HD 4800 is compatible with your motherboard but there could be problem with power supply because those graphic cards are requesting stronger PSU.

Q6600 can overclock reaching 4GHz on water cooling. but be careful though always watch your processor's temperature keep it as low as possible and if it overheats try lowering the processor speed and voltage.

Do you have the 6-pin PCI-E power connector attached to the new video card? If you do it's possible you power supply is insufficient and may need to be upgraded.
