Most obvious problem is that the ink heads are clogged, you need to run the nozzle clean utility.
If this fails to work (and may not given the time you say it has been doing this), try again. If after this, it shows no improvement, remove the cartridges, and clean the print heads carefully with a proprietary solution of cleaner. I'd moreover discard the old cartridges and replace them

I have a lexmark x364dn. It has a line through the copies I make. I can print and scan and it is fine. The line is just on copies

Assuming the COPY uses a automatic document feeder. The doc feeder scans doc by passing doc over a narrow window. If there is a dot or several dots in the narrow window, it / they will show up on copies as a line.
Clean the window (looks like a long glass window about 1 inch wide ) carefully with a SLIGHTLY damp towel. Should get rid of the lines.

I have a Kyocera CS-2050 and there is a dark line that prints in the center of the pages. What causes this and how do I correct it?

Several things can cause this if it does this when copies are made on the doc feeder try making copies on the platen glass (the main glass). If the copies on the platen don't have the line its the **** glass the small line of glass left of the main platen glass. Clean with windex or alcohol. If it does it when any copies are made and doesn't do it when prints are sent from the computer Than the optics (mirrors) need to be cleaned. If it does it from prints from the computer than it might be the charge wire. To clean this open the front door and next to the waste toner bottle their is a slim green tab. Pull it out until it stops do this several time. If that doesn't fix it it might be the drum look for a line in the drum hold the page next to the drum to see if the line lines up with a deeper impression in the drum. Maybe the fuser unit do the same with the fuser (the unit that gets hot) and see if the teflon is worn off (will be a gray line were it has worn off.
If you have anymore questions just ask.
Hope this helps.

3 thin black lines on copy

Do the black lines show up when you use the adf or if you make a copy from the copyboard glass. If the lines only show with the adf > there is a small **** of glass on the left side of the copy board glass > I would clean the slip glass with windex or a damp cloth..... Good Luck

Canon MX850 printer - ADF copy has black line on it

Hello, my name is Steve,.
This is a common problem and an easy fix.
If you lift the ADF / top cover assembly up, you will see a small narrow piece of glass next to the flat-bed glass.

Ths is called a "Slit-glass". The only purpose is to read content from that point by the scanner, The Scanner will sit in the underside of it.

It is dirty. Wipe this with glass cleaner and a soft lint-free cloth. you may need to do this several times. Concentrate the part of the glass were this image problem is just by the orientation of the document you are installing with the direction of the document you are passing through the ADF.

It will take several attempts, but with each try, make a new test from the original document, unyil the problem disappears.

I believe this will solve your problem, Best , Steve
