SOURCE: why is the camera stating memory card is full?

Hello, I have the same camera, I went to buy a Kodak memory card and the Representative was kind enough to ask me what digital camera, he said that the c330 will only take a 1GB SD Memory Card. Hope that helps.

SOURCE: camera says my memory is full

It can only take a 2gb memory card. anything higher than that it won't be able to use. The reason it's saying the memory is full is because it's still using the built in 15mb (something like that)

SOURCE: memory card

Try to check the Memory card if it is compatible with your new camera. To know this you need to read the owners manual and try to check the directions on putting your memory card. Your memory card must be check also from a computer if it is still functional. If you have files like old pictures try to save to that card. if the save files are opened then your memory card is working. But if is not then your card needs to be reformat. if it cannot be formatted thats the end of its life. You need to have a new one.

Please reply if it works or not. To give you more advices.

SOURCE: move pictures saved in camera to card

Best thing to do is upload them to your computer. The camera does not allow you to move from camera memory to card.

After takeing one picture it says memory full

Do you have a formatted memory card in the camera? The camera only has 5MB of memory and I'm not surprised two 10megapixel pictures won't fit in it.

How to format the GE X500 Digital Camera

The camera has less than 14MB of internal memory. At its finest resolution three pictures is about all that will fit in there. You really do need a memory card, just as you would have needed film for an analog camera. The main difference is that you need only one memory card, instead of having to buy roll after roll of film. Even the smallest memory card you're likely to find will hold hundreds of pictures, and you can easily download them to a computer and reuse the memory card.

It keeps saying memory card is full. Bought a new memory card and put in and it still says the card is full.

Are you sure that isn't "internal" memory card is full message?

Sometimes, when "internal memory card is full" there is no more space in the camera's internal memory. Your camera has 16 MB of internal memory. The number of pictures you can store depends on the picture size setting you have selected on your camera. Keep in mind that the camera always uses internal memory, even if a card is installed (auto default).

If really, the problem is in the "SD memory card", I suggest make some backup all files and reformat the SD. Try formatting it in the camera, there should be a process in your owners manual for doing this; donw formatted SD in your computer, isn't good.

Hope helps.

I just bought a new camera (a GE C1033) and I took 1 picture and it now says the memory is full. I do not have in a memory card, so how can I use the internal memory and make it so that my memory won't be...

Well, the internal memory isn't all that big but, you can reduce the image size and possible get four pictures out of the camera before the memory is full again. Best bet is to go get the memory card for that camera.

How can i get my camera that i bought at a pawn shop to down load on my computor with out the soft ware? i don't have the disk from the camera to down load on my computor.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

The C913 is designed to work with SD cards. Your 8GB card is actually an SDHC card. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they will not work. You need to use SD cards 2GB and smaller.

I can only take 5 pictures with this camera before it says that the card is full. i have already changed the card twice is there something wrong with the camera or the card

Hi,
This sounds like a problem with the memory card.
Your camera has 19MB of internal memory (used to take test photos in the shop usually) which is what the camera is using here.
You may need to format the memory card before use, assuming it is inserted into the camera correctly.
I have linked to the camera's instructions (PDF Format). Follow the details on page 30 describing how to format your memory card. Please also read through the set up at the beginning to ensure the card is inserted correctly. Thanks

If it says card full then it still is. Sometimes this happens when you pull the card out before it is done ereasing. A camera shop has listings of places that can get your pictures back. You can try opening the card on your computer using a card reader, 5 bucks on up, I personally don't like using a cable from the camera to the computer- to many things can hose up that way, and it can be darn frustrating doing it that way. Get a cheap usb card reader, and it works much better.

My samsung s1030

An 8gb memory card to too large for your camera. It can't handle the large space on an 8gb memory card. If I'm not mistaken the s1030 can only go up to a 2gb memory card.
