Question about Rl Flowmaster Garden

Open Question

Product continues to spray when trigger is off. I have cleaned the entire system with warm water, removed "gunk" around rubber flapper on bottom of pump, yet whenever I try to spray, the sprayer continues to spray or dribble even though I keep trigger off. I hate the trigger mechanism anyway as it tends to lock into full on and I have to stop and push the trigger back each time I use it as it always wants to lock into place. I have accidently sprayed plants unintentionally with this damn thing. But I worked with that issue, and figured I would buy a different brand when this one wore out. Well, it wore out with very little use, because now it won't shut off at all. I have to release all air pressure in order to stop flow. Please advise is there is a wand that is easier to control that I can purchase. Thanks.

Glacier bay toilet leaks around the flap

The flapper replacement comes with a rubber ring that slides down over the fill tube to seat. If the old flapper ring does not remove easily, you may have to cut it to remove it. The replacement flapper also comes with ears that mount over hooks at the base of the fill tube on some toilets. You cut the flapper where indicated to remove the ring before installing.the ears on the hooks. If you buy a carded replacement, all of this information will be on the card. If not, someone at the point of purchase may be able to explain. Your well water may make it necessary to replace the flapper often but my experience has been that an inexpensive replacement lasts just as long as more expensive ones

Hello, W/D here.

With the water off, drain the tank (lift the flapper). Look inside where the flapper seats. If the (usually black) gasket is rippled, this may be the cause of your trouble. You can remove the rippled portion of the gasket with a razor knife, just be very careful not to damage the flapper seat. Removing the protruding material will allow the flapper to fully seat without damaging the gasket integrity.
Best regards,

Toilet runs slightly, can minimally depress the handle to release a bit of water, and it will stop. How to fix?

Toilet runs continuously or doesn't flush adequately

Jiggling the handle might work for a while, but if your toilet is always running or doesn't flush adequately, you need to perform these simple fixes that usually can tame a noisy, inefficient toilet.

Check the Chain

The chain attached to the rubber flapper often becomes loose, causing incomplete flushing and/or continuous running. To fix it, remove links from the chain using needle-nosed pliers until it's tight.

Check Water Level

Improper water levels can also cause problems with your toilet. This can be fixed by adjusting the ball ****, which is located next to the overflow pipe, the open tube to the right of the handle. Adjust the ball **** so the water comes to ½ " below the overflow pipe.

Clean the Surface of the Flush Valve

A continuously running toilet can also be the result of a faulty flush valve. Because the valve is made of rubber, it can decompose or warp allowing water to escape from the tank into the bowl. Clean the sealing surface to see if this will improve the seal. If too decomposed or warped the valve may need to be replaced.

Replace the Flapper

Remove old flapper and replace with a suitable replacement. Attach the flapper to the overflow pipe inside the bowl. Then attach the lever chain from the flapper to the handle lever making sure the chain is taut.

I have mold on the rubber door seal

This is a comon problem In areas where miosture is high and the tempiture is warm. Try using bleach to clen it off with or you can use super clean to remove it from the rubber. Not touchingthe seal with your hands and clothes will help some to.

After observing the water just gushing out when the spray arm was removed, we determined there was still a bunch more calcification/soap in the ends of the spray arm. (We have very hard water in our area). Unfortunately, you cannot open up the spray arms to clean them out, so it took about 30 minutes of pounding and manipulating to get all the gunk out. Now my dishes are clean again. Hallelujeh! And the water cleaning the dishes is cleaner, as well.

Fuel injection idling to high

Try this: Remove the rubber pipe that goes to the throttle plate at the end of the intake manifold. Open the throttle flap valve and inspect the interior for excessive carbon buildup (black gunk around the flapper and the outer circular bore)...If it is dirty, get some carb cleaner & spray the daylights out of it until it is clean clean clean. Reattach the tube and start the engine, it will smoke quite a bit until all of the cleaner in the intake is digested by the engine. This should improve the idle. What may be happening is the black gunk may not be letting the throttle valve to close fully, and WILL keep the idle up.

There is gunk in the bottom of my dishwasher by the drain. Really sticky gunk. How do I get it out?

Depending on what that 'gunk' is, will determine your best course of action. If it is food byproducts from the wash process and you've not cleaned out the filter, you should remove as much of that gunk with a dishtowel and warm water, then use white vinegar to break down any other leftover material. Rinse with clean warm water. Check the filter and clean it after each wash process to make sure you aren't restricting drain water from being pumped out. Once you've removed th emajority of that material, you could run a dishless wash cycle on the sanitary setting to clean out anything that remained... Hope this helps...

Gunk in Front Loader

If you are talking about the gunk build up around the rubber DOOR BOOT, that is actually a common problem. You can take some cleaning rags with some bleach spray and wipe thoroughly around the entire door boot. Make sure you clean the rubber boot as well. About once a week you should run the machine with no clothes in it on the hottest cycle you have. Add some bleach in the dispenser and allow the machine to complete the cycle. This will kill any bacteria that is left inside the drum and drain lines. Now, preventing the problem from coming back will take a little diligence on your part. Routinely, clean the the door area as needed and LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN between washes. Because of the nature of these machines, the door seals tight and the drum is dark. This allows the build up of mildew over a period of time, because the tub is never allowed to dry out. A little water in the bottom of the drum is normal, but the door area needs to dry. I hope this is the problem you are describing and I hope this may help you.
