You need to find out what sound driver you need and install it.some how you have lost the driver. Go to the manufacturer site for your particular computer look up the model under downloads and drivers and download and install the audio driver. If you have a custom built machine oogle everest home, download the free program it will tell you everything about your computer (ie: what hardware,software,memory,CPU etc.)
