Issue with either battery, charging port on phone, or charger. Attempt replacement of charger or different outlet first. Then battery replacement, about $50. Then phone replacement (hope you're eligible for warranty or have insurance if you don't want to upgrade).

Whenever i plug it into the charger, the light flashes yellow

You need to get a new battery. The yellow light means there is an abnormal charging condition and that is usually the battery.

I dropped my Samsung Blackjack II (model SGH-1617)in water. I took batter out and let dry. It seems totally dead. Any suggestions?

You can try to put the charger into the phone (leave the battery out) and see whether it wants to start.
If it works, it means your battery is broken, but your phone itself still works. Then, you have to buy a new battery.

Good luck!

Battery won't charge

This is a hardware problem for sure. If you still have warranty bring it back to the shop. Likely this is a problem in the phone not with the battery. Also check the connectors on the battery and on the phone (where the battery connects with the phone) maybe the connectors aren't touching 100% (or not at all) and also try cleaning them (not with water of course).

Blackjack II will not start

This has happened to my Blackjack II and I've found if I plug it into the charger then plug the charger into the wall, the phone comes right on. It's a pain, however, if I'm not at home when it decides to do this since no amount of button pushing will turn it back on, it acts like the battery is dead (when I know it isn't!)

BTW, I've have to have my SIM card switched out twice and the battery replaced 4 times since I bought this phone brand new in February......

Keypad dead

i went by an at&t store and all my phone needed was a re-boot, which is to say i had to remive the back and the battery while it was on, give it several seconds, then replace it. everything is back to working fine now.
