A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I had the same problem!! Okay I can help you out.. Go to messaging and scroll all the way down to message settings. Open that up and go to Multimedia Message and scroll down to very bottom again to messaging center. Open that up and you should see AT&T MMS well highlight that and press options. Hit edit and go all the way down. The second to last one is connection mode. Change it to TCP with proxy. (It might already be TCP with Proxy but do it anyways) and hit save and then activate and it should work.

You can use Bitpim to download your text messages off your phone to your computer. If you want to learn about Bitpim go here: http://www.lgvoyager.com/wiki/LG_Voyager_Hacks

Straightly you cant assign any music files as your message tones. But you can do it if you modify the phone system files which may result in serious problem of spoiling the phone if you use the modification software wrongly. I strongly suggest you not to do that. If you are still interested in doing that refer the link: http://www.lg-vu.com/index.php?topic=4877.0
Rate me if it is heplfull!
