Happy Holidays,
well, you may look for updates, on the PC webpage, and drivers or new drivers, also, check for any other device that conflict with sound card. sometimes, is the LAN card, or Printer Port. IRQ.
reinstall the drivers for your sound card.
Good Luck

No sound coming from speakers and drivers not working anymore...

Make sure you use the power adapter with the speakers. Most audio cards today won't drive the speakers on their own. Either

  1. remove the audio from the Device Manager then search for changes, or
  2. Look at the Properties of the audio device and revert to a previous driver.

Audio failure

On the desktop or from start menu, right click on "my computer".
Left click once on "manage".
Left click once on "device manager".
If there are and yellow excalamation marks in the device list you
don't have drivers installed for that particular device.
If the audio has exclamation you need to find the driver disc or
download audio drivers from the net.
Also make sure you have the speakers plugged into the green socket at rear of pc and that you dont have audio muted.
