Hi,

If you look at your micro sd card check for a switch that you can move. Move it in the opposite direction of that it is currently in. If this doesn't work try to change the switch on your sd adapter as well. If this still doesn't work switch the micro sd switch back to original state and try again. One of the cards has the lock activated. You just have to figure out witch one.

Please rate!
Cheers

Remove write protection from sd card

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

If it says write-protected, then... there is nothing you can do about it.

It's protected to not be formatted.

Its saying music lock

sometimes mp3 player will say that if the song you put on them is copyright protected

if you downloaded it from itunes or urge they only sell protected copies of their music. stores like rhapsody mp3 store sell unprotected copies.

check your ripping software as well, sometimes in your option for ripping the music into a mp3 you can check a little box to protect it, if you did it usually only works on that player and devices synced to it

hope this helps!

4 GB micro sd and the Sandisk Sansa e250R...

If the 4gb micro SD is a high capacity SD (it will say micro SDHC on it) your player may not be able to read SDHC cards, my sansa can't because it's the 'older version' it will read 2gb and below micro SD cards though (it sucked when I found out because I had just bought a 6gb micro SDHC)
