SOURCE: want to uninstall home defender
It's really complicated to remove Windows Defender. The best solution is to simply disable it: Control Panel->in the search bar type "defender"->Click on Windows Defender->Tools->Options 1. Automatic Scanning->Uncheck 2. Real time protection->Uncheck all 3. Administrator->Uncheck "Use this program"
