Question about Lexmark Z645 InkJet Photo Printer
The printer comes with one cartridge that has color and black in it.
There is two compartments for cartridges. One for the multi color and black and then the other is empty, assuming that is for the black ink cartridge only.
Placed new cartridge of black in empty slot.
Ran a test page, came out very light.
Ran it again, now the printer will not print.
Took out new black cartridge, shut of printer, restarted computer, and still nothing. No printing.
I checked the icon for printing and it says "document in queue", "owner pending"
Just a moment ago it printed, and now nothing.
First... check to make sure you removed the yellow tab from the new print cartridge
put the ink cartridge back into the printer
click Control Panel
open Printers and Faxes
click (or double click to open) your printer icon
click on Printer menu
click on cancel all documents
Then try printing again.
If this does not work, look in the manual that came with the printer and check out the troubleshooting section.
