Why do you need to change the power settings?, the BIOS Menu can help you there, press del (many times until a blue screen comes up) at start up, avd bios setting and it should give you a way to change the way to power goes into any componate

Hi,
Error Code: 0x0000005D: Your CPU is not compatible.
To install Windows 8 Release Preview on your PC, the processor (CPU) must support the following features: Physical Address Extension (PAE), NX, and SSE2. Most CPUs have support for these features, so if you receive this error, it is likely because the NX feature is not enabled on your system.
To resolve this error, follow manufacturer guidelines to enable NX ("No eXecute bit"), or the equivalent XD ("eXecute Disabled") feature, within the BIOS security settings.
If the BIOS setting for the NX support option is not available on your system, you may need to contact the manufacturer for updating the BIOS. Note that some older processors may not contain these features and will be incompatible with Windows 8 Release Preview

Can not connect to the internet cause it is saying that ther is no network controller missing driver or no driver

the driver should be on the motherboard disc or the one supplied by your isp internet service supplier

P4sd socket 478 motherboard is not booting up at all !!!

1st check if the voltage from the plug has correct groung , neutral phase set .then
try a new smps , with minimum 400W output.
before connecting the same.
please remove all the parts out of the cabinet please connect only motherboard and smps and check its getting switched on , if not then your board is burnt you will have to replace it , if there is power indication then connect the RAM and check , if its also fine then connect the rest and try.
all this u have tried and no use , please post me a msg with full detail of your PC configuration , I can try a resolution
