F05 on an Indesit washing machine means "Pressure switch jammed on trip"

As is often the case, knowing the error code is one thing, but findng the cause is another because error codes often have several possible causes. The wording of the error code explanation suggests the pressure switch clicked on to register a water level, but when the water was drained away it remained on instead of turning off. I would guess there could be a blockage in the pressure system, or the pressure switch could be faulty. Also, if the water didn't drain properly it would cause the pressure switch to stay on too. Finally, the Indesit washing machines PCB's can give erroneous errors where the fault turns out to be with the pcb itself. This makes things very difficult if you don't have access to replacement PCB's to try.

Basically, I would keep an eye on the washing machine and try it again. If it reoccurrs then clearly it needs sorting, but if it doesn't it might have just been one of those things.

What is causing my Kenmore top washer to make a grinding noise before the rinse cycle?

Have you replaced the clutch or spin tube? There is a brake actuator that comes with the clutch kit and if this is broken it can make a very loud grinding or clacking sound.

The tub won't drain and it spins very slowly. I've also noticed, over the last couple years, some oil/rust spots on my clothes. It is a top loading washer that is over 20 years old.

you may want to check your pump and see if something might be stuck, you should be able to take bottom kick plate off in front of machine.when you take it off you will see the pump.most have a filter you can unscrew and pull out to see how much junk has collected.the buzzing is usually your pump or doorswitch.

ASKO 1605

Hi Guys
My dishwasher this morning has desided to not work correctly.
Its a ASKO 1302 about 20 years old. It has been a very good machine.
Over the last couple of weeks during the washing cycle, the dishwasher has been making a loader noise than usual.
1. Today, the dishwasher timer, travels all the way through its cycle, but very little washing take place.
2. Soap power is still there, plates not clean!!!!
3. Water is hot
4. At the end of the cycle, there is no water in the dishwasher.
5. I'm thinking the problem could be the pump needs replacing.
What do you think?

20 year old washing machine leaks

the tank is hooked to the pump and the pump to the drain hose, by flexible rubber couplings.
Try those couplings to see if they have deteriorated, they are cheaper to replace than to buy a new washer ort get a service man

Stackable Washer will not drain.

check if there is a low humming noise when on drain. if so there may be a foreign object trapped in pump. otherwise have you checked filter?
