You can scan to your computers using below steps and save it to your PC, after you save the files, you can attach them to your email .

Windows XP:

1. 1. Click the Start (Windows) icon.
2. Click All Programs.
3. Click Accessories.
4. Click Paint.
5. Click File and then click From Scanner or Camera.
6. Click Scan.

Windows Vista:

1. Click the Start (Windows) icon.
2. Click All Programs.
3. Click Windows Photo Gallery.
4. Click File and then click Import From Scanner or Camera.
5. Click Import.
6. Click Scan.

I2400 scan to email doesn't work


You must have an email program like Outlook installed on your computer. When scan to email is selected it simply opens whatever defaul email client and attaches the scanned doc to a new email message.

1-Print the attached document !

When I scana photo on my Pixma MP510 printer and select the "Attach to email" scan operation setting, how do I get the scanned photo attached to an email? I don't have a Microsoft Outlook.

If yoy dont have Microsoft Outlook in your computer then you need to do it manually. The "Attach to email" option will trigger your email client inside the computer. if you are using web based email like yahoo mail, gmail, hotmail and the like, then the only way to attach the picture is by doing it manually.

How do i scan an item then send via email?


Place the document on a scanner, Scan the document first onto your computer save the scan output with a name you can remember. Open your email, click attachment browse to the document you just scanned and click attach.

Scan feature doesnt work


If you are tired of doing the handcopying, and mailing it using USPS and want to try to resolve your scanning issue please share some information about your issue. Can you scan from the computer using MS Word, or any scan compliant Software ?. Can you scan from the computer to a file or document. If you can scan successfully, you have the option of attaching the scanned document as an attachment to your email.
Also let me know what email software do you have installed.

save scanned pic to your computer DESKTOP!!!
then open email click on attachment on the top tool bar, then pick desktop and click on file you saved.
